This program is for ALL levels.

Beginners will develop sound fundamentals and avoid developing the bad hearing, pronunciation and overthinking habits that plague most intermediate language learners.

Intermediates who already suffer from these bad habits will focus on systematically unwiring them. 

Then the language knowledge that has been hitherto trapped behind the blocks in the mind, mouth and ears will be finally liberated to flow freely.

There are two types of zoom meetups in Flow School - discussion meetups and practice meetups. 

Discussion meetups are not required for attendance. Their main purpose is moral support and idea exploration. You can also submit your questions beforehand for me to answer on the call, then watch the recording later at your convenience.

Practice meetups are more critical, because it's where you get to practice our techniques in a safe social setting, so that you're more prepared and confident to engage the outside world of native speakers.

That being said, nothing is "required" in the sense that you'll be kicked out of the program if you don't attend. We do, however, incentivize attendance through our accountability and competition system, which I'll discuss in more detail in a later email.

At the end of the enrollment period, I will collect everyone's availabilities and work out which meetup times work best for the group.

I will ensure that everyone can attend at least one Practice meetup, even if it means I need to put a third or fourth one on the schedule. 

So no worries - we got you!

You can do this program on any device - phone, tablet or laptop/desktop. Though past students report that the most convenient environment is a laptop/desktop/.

If you're ever stuck on tech, just raise your hand and either me, one of our apprentices, or one of your fellow students will hop on call with you to work it out.

In our last program, many a flowy friendship was established through the kind assistance of the tech-allergic by the tech-savvy.  

Flow school differs from my old programs in four key ways.

• Content: Many materials are re-used, but there is a great deal of new material. Also, the old programs focused exclusively on hearing/pronunciation. This program is the only one that directly trains you on listening and speaking. 
• Guidance: The old programs were fully self-driven. This program I and the apprentices will be with you each step of the way, tracking your progress and working tirelessly to unblock you and guide you toward the promised land of conversation flow.
• Accountability: For the old programs, there was nothing compelling you to complete the program or apply it to the real world of conversation. That is why I stopped selling them last year - completion and application rates were too low. Flow School has a very sophisticated and proven-effective accountability system to keep you hard working and consistent. At the end of the last program, many students reported, with both gratitude and exhaustion, that this was the first time they've ever fully completed an online program.
• Community: For the old programs, there was no way to commune with other learners. I've since learned that social learning is far more effective than isolated learning, when done properly. In this program, it's baked into the methodology for you to teach and morally support others, as a way to consolidate your own learning and confidence. 

The Mimic Method is accent-agnostic. I don't teach you how to speak like a Colombian or a Parisian. What I teach you is how to mimic the sounds/movements of any language and accent. Then I send you off into the field to mimic the people and culture you seek to Flow with.

Disabuse yourself with the notion that it's best to learn some "standard" form of the language first, before venturing off to other forms.

Standards are only useful for reading and writing. We don't do any of that letter-stuff here. In Flow School we teach you to feel language with your whole body, so you can more easily dance in sync with the locals. 

Your training will focus on a single language, but you will have access to the materials for the other languages. I will sometimes have you train with speech in the other languages, as a way to ingrain the underlying patterns universal to all languages.

Then after the 10 weeks, you can dive deeper into the other languages if wish. 

If you are doing the VIP program, it is not an issue to do a delayed start or take a break in the middle. Because you will have a custom learning plan, and private coaching with me directly, I will be able to ensure you learn what you need to finish the process.

For the standard program, it is okay to delay or take off a week, but beyond that I do not recommend. That being said, if during the program you have to quit for some reason, I can grant you partial credit toward the next program.
