Anyone who has signed up for one of the courses in The Mimic Method Flow Series can tell you that the best part of the course is the personalized feedback via Soundlcoud.
Soundcloud is an online sound-sharing service who's stated mission is to "Unmute the Web". It's mostly used by musicians to share original tracks and engage their fans through comments.
What really separates Soundcloud is it's timed-comments feature. When you upload an audio track, soundcloud transcodes the visual "waveform" so you can see your sounds. Then, you can click on a specific moment in the track and leave a timed-comment.
Checkout the conversation forming around my famous "Flow Anthem" of me rapping in eight languages. If you want to add a comment, just sign into Soundcloud with your facebook account. It takes only 7 seconds!

To advance Soundcloud's mission to "unmute the web", I am starting my own movement to "unmute language learning." Continue on to find out how you can join the cause.
Language is about sound, yet most language-learning conversations exist in muted online forums. Let's change that.
I've created a group on Soundcloud called "The Flow Forum". I want this place to be a center for language-learners to share their language-learning sounds and provide constructive feedback on others submissions.
Below is a little quick-recorder widget (visit the actual forum here). Press the "REC" button and say something, anything in your target language (check out the most recent submissions for an idea of what to do). Title your submission appropriately and then press submit.

Now visit the actual forum here and provide feedback on someone else's submissions. If you know their language, correct their grammar or pronunciation. If you don't, just say "good job". Anyone who's studied a second language knows that a little positive feedback goes a long way.
Submit something in any of the languages I speak (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin Chinese),
and I'll give you Flow Feedback for free!

Don't Stop Flowin!
Don't let this be the last time you submit to the forum. You should be recording yourself all the time if your learning a language so you can really see your progress (or "hear" it, rather).
Submit to the forum as often as you can to really see gains in your language skills. Here's what I recommend recording.
If you're really serious about it, I recommend starting a tumblr blog (you can auto-share your sounds to tumblr from soundcloud in one click) to keep a daily "Flow" log where you record something everyday. You can also one-click share your tracks to your facebook page.
I'm going to start regularly recording myself as I continue to learn French and hone my freestyle abilities in Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin.
So stay tuned. And Keep on Flowin!

- Singing or rapping songs you've learned or composed yourself.
- Reciting text, such as a poem or newspaper article.
- Talking freely about whatever subject to practice your speaking skills.
